Are you looking for AWS Solutions Architect ?

The AWS Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in cloud computing environments, particularly in organizations that heavily rely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for their infrastructure needs.

Designs and provides architectural solutions on AWS based on client requirements, ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.

Having the AWS Solutions Architect certification, especially at the professional level, is often a preferred or required credential for this role. The certification process ensures the architect is well-versed in AWS tools, architecture design principles, and best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

Designing Scalable Architectures

Design and implement scalable, high-performance systems that fulfill the requirements of the client or organization and can evolve with changing needs.

Cost-Efficiency

Analyze and recommend solutions that provide the best ROI. This includes leveraging AWS pricing models and tools like Cost Explorer.

Security

Ensure that the architecture adheres to AWS best practices, especially in terms of security (IAM roles, VPC configurations, security groups) and compliance requirements.

Migration

Assist in moving on-premises systems to AWS. This might involve leveraging tools like AWS Database Migration Service or Server Migration Service.

Disaster Recovery

Design architectures that can recover from failures, understanding AWS's backup solutions, and ensuring high availability and failover strategies with tools like AWS Route53, Elastic Load Balancing, and RDS Multi-AZ deployments.

Integration with AWS Services

Familiarity with a broad range of AWS tools and how they integrate in complex environments – from compute (EC2) to storage (S3, EBS) to more specialized tools like AWS Lambda or Kinesis.

Continuous Learning

Given the frequent introduction of new services and features by AWS, continuous learning and certification renewal are essential.

Client Interaction

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide guidance, and translate technical jargon into understandable terms.

Prototyping

Quickly create prototypes using AWS services to validate solutions and demonstrate concepts.
