An AWS Cloud Network Engineer is entrusted with designing, deploying, and managing an organization's cloud-based network infrastructure within the Amazon Web Services ecosystem. Leveraging the AWS suite of networking tools and services, they ensure the security, scalability, and efficiency of cloud-based network resources.

Anicalls focuses on network design, implementation, and optimization using tools and services like AWS VPC, AWS Direct Connect, and AWS Transit Gateway.

Roles & responsibilities:

Network Design

Architect and design VPC configurations, including subnets, route tables, and security groups.

Implementation

Set up and maintain network configurations such as VPN connections, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway using AWS services.

Security

Ensure all AWS network components adhere to security best practices, including setting up NACLs, security groups, and AWS WAF to safeguard network resources.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Utilize AWS CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and AWS Network Manager to monitor network traffic, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot issues.

Optimization

Assess current network configurations and implement strategies to optimize performance, reduce costs, and enhance security.

Integration

Collaborate with DevOps, security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of network configurations with other AWS services and resources.

Network Scaling

Use AWS networking services such as Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) and Auto Scaling to handle varying network loads.

Hybrid Connectivity

Implement and manage hybrid connectivity solutions between on-premises data centers and AWS using Direct Connect and VPNs.

Compliance

Ensure that network configurations comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
