Roles & Responsibilities

Hybrid Strategy Development

Design and architect hybrid BI solutions leveraging both on-premises MSBI tools (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) and Azure cloud services. Assess current BI infrastructure and recommend a transition strategy to Azure where applicable.

Data Integration

Develop, deploy, and monitor SSIS packages both on-premises and on Azure Data Factory. Migrate existing ETL processes to Azure, optimizing for performance and cost.

Analytical Model Development

Design multidimensional and tabular data models using SSAS and Azure Analysis Services. Ensure smooth data flow between on-premises systems and Azure.

Reporting Solutions

Deploy and manage SSRS reports in hybrid environments, leveraging Azure's capabilities for scalability and accessibility. Integrate Azure-based reporting tools like Power BI to provide enhanced visualization and analytics.

Security & Compliance

Implement security best practices for hybrid solutions, including data encryption, access controls, and network security. Ensure compliance with industry regulations when storing and processing data in the cloud.

Performance Optimization

Monitor and optimize the performance of hybrid BI solutions, ensuring timely data processing and report generation. Make use of Azure tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
