Roles & Responsibilities

Data Integration and Workflow Design

Develop, deploy, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory. Integrate various data sources, including but not limited to relational, non-relational, on-premises, and cloud-based sources.

Database Management and Optimization

Design and implement relational databases using Azure SQL Database and non-relational databases using services like Azure Cosmos DB. Monitor, manage, and optimize databases to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security.

Data Lake & Big Data Implementations

Set up, configure, and manage Azure Data Lake Storage solutions. Implement big data solutions using Azure Databricks and Azure HDInsight.

Data Security and Compliance

Ensure that all data solutions meet security and compliance requirements. Implement data masking, encryption (using Azure Key Vault), and manage access using Azure Active Directory.

Streaming Data Solutions

Design and implement real-time data streaming solutions using Azure Stream Analytics. Integrate IoT data streams and ensure real-time processing and analytics.

Data Exploration and Analysis

Leverage Azure Synapse Analytics to explore and analyze data. Integrate with data visualization tools like Power BI for reporting and dashboarding.
